United Fly Tyers of Rhode Island is an educational organization. Its members are dedicated to the teaching and the learning of the tying arts and the application of those arts to fishing in Rhode Island waters and beyond.

Monthly meetings are held at 6:30 pm on the First Wednesday of every month, from September through May, at The Knights of Columbus in Warwick.

A Junior Fly Tying program for juniors from 10 to 16 years old (October through March), which concludes with a day on a pond where, besides tying flies, they learn to recognize some insects and to fly fish with Ed Lombardo.
