The Pheasant Tail Nymph is a good all-purpose fly. We will focus on proportions, the techniques of tying on the wing case and legs, and anything else you'd like. We should also have time to tie a bead head version of this fly. For those of you who have tied a few flies and want to try an “advanced beginner” fly this might be a good fly to work on.
