United Fly Tiers of Rhode Island is an education-based organization dedicated to promoting the art, and fun, of tying flies. We have offered programs for children since 2001. We have a regular tying program at which the juniors meet from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on the first Friday of each month, October through March, at the Aspray Boathouse in Pawtuxet Village.

is also a Juniors Symposium in late March, where kids tie for visitors. Check out some of the images from last years Addieville Day with Ed Lombardo and many others working with the kids to understand the ecosystem of the pond and the fish that live there as well. They also got some great shots of the kids tying flies and casting too!
