Dear Members and Instructors,
I want to thank all of you for a wonderful fly tying season. It has been a pleasure seeing the progress and engagement from everyone involved.
As we look ahead, I would like to invite your input for future sessions. If there is a particular fly pattern you are interested in learning, or if you would like to volunteer to instruct a session on your favorite fly, please reach out to me. You can contact me via email at josephrkearns@gmail.com or by text at 401-309-6502.
I also want to address a few housekeeping items to ensure our meetings run smoothly for everyone:
- Timing: Our meetings are scheduled from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. I ask that instructors and tiers wait until after 6:30 PM and the conclusion of any opening announcements before starting the tying process. This ensures that members arriving on time do not miss the beginning of a demonstration.
- Table Conduct: While you are welcome to tie a single fly at one table and then move to observe another or assist a newer tier, please keep outside conversations at the tables to a minimum. If you wish to engage in a discussion not related to the specific fly being tied, please step away from the table so as not to distract those who are following the instruction.
I truly appreciate everyone’s continued support and cooperation in making these sessions successful.
Best regards,
Joseph Kearns
